“It is imperative that American citizens become alerted and informed regarding the threat to our welfare, happiness and freedom.

No American is worthy of citizenship in this great land who refuses to take an active interest in these important matters.

Stand up for freedom, no matter what the cost. It can help to save your soul and maybe your country”. – Ezra Taft Benson 1965

  1. Benson was a Mormon Top Official, and Ike’s Secretary of Agriculture for all 8 years.
Despite some controversy in the 1950s, Ike stood by him.

    1. Unlike you guys, I didn’t know who he was and had to look it up. Wikipedia, not the most reliable of resources, especially when it comes to anything even remotely political, has the following posted about him.

“Ezra Taft Benson (August 4, 1899 – May 30, 1994) was the thirteenth president of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church) from 1985 until his death and was United States Secretary of Agriculture for both terms of the presidency of Dwight D. Eisenhower.”
