Today I want to elaborate on travel destination weddings, people often ask us what’s the difference between booking with a travel agency and booking online. So I’d like to use the analogy of TripAdvisor.
I love TripAdvisor. I love to use TripAdvisor as a wonderful tool however, the difference between a review on TripAdvisor and using an experienced travel planner is that the traveler is often enjoying a resort for the first time or the first time to a destination. So they really don’t have anything to compare it to so oftentimes you’ll see a five-star review for a 3-star property and I’m glad they love their vacation but oftentimes you also see the difference of two vacationers. They both stayed at the same resort at the same time, First one is David, a one-and-one. David gave it a five and you’re like how the heck can that happen and it’s simply because their expectations wedding venue Germany either were or were not met and that’s where we come in.
The difference is travel agents travel very differently than the general public. And honeymoon
and destination wedding specialists travel very differently than the general travel agent so when we travel to the destination we tour countlessly.
We meet with the staff to see what is special about that resort and when we travel to a resort we walk the beaches. We know which ones have the crystal-clear water and which ones are rocky. We know which ones are long and you know, romantic for walking. We know who offers the private candlelit dinners on the beaches the couples massages. We know who offers the best honeymoon suites and the best amenities for our travelers for our romantic celebratory guests. We go to the spa, we stay in the honeymoon suites, we experience all the amenities of the resort and the staff. The service in the restaurants, the drinks and so that way we can really when you’re painting that picture for us and you’re communicating with us what your wishes are for your vacation.
Then we can easily point you in the right direction and let you know that this property serves all of those wishes when planning your honeymoon or destination wedding. We rarely have service fees so our dramas become so easy for us because this is our specialty. This is what we’ve been doing for 20 years and we’re the best of the best and a travel agent can rarely say I’m the best of the best and it’s difficult to say sometimes but the reason why we’re able to do that is that we focused all of our attention for 20 years. For 25 years of planning honeymoons and destination weddings that we helped pioneer destination weddings. We helped them create most of their packages and we gave them feedback from all of our guests. We were planning destination weddings before destination weddings were even a thing before the resorts even had wedding packages.
So it’s important to know that we know what is available and we know what is possible. We are engaged with your planning throughout the entire process. We know the staff, especially with honeymoons and destination weddings. We know the sales staff, we know the wedding coordinators, we know the romance, concierge team, they know who we are because we work with them frequently and we travel to the destinations frequently and we can tell you that you know oftentimes people will come to us and be like oh I want to say they’re my friend recommended it.
