While you may think you’re producing less waste every week, you might want to do the math. Let say you throw out three bags of junk items on the curb each week, that leaves us with 156 bags a year. Now let’s say for instance you have up to 1000 homes in your district with each disposing 3 bags of thrash every week, now you have to deal with no less than 156,000 bags of thrash. And where do these bags end up? No other place but the landfills. Now just imagine the amount of waste that is collected on a weekly basis from every home around the country. You’ll be dumbfounded at the number of waste you product. This is more reason why waste recycling services are a big life saver.

What most people don’t know is that more than half of these waste items stocked into trash bags and disposed of in landfills are recyclable materials. While aluminum is a highly recyclable material, they end up finding billions of cans that are ether scattered all over the place or shipped to the landfill instead of making them more useful through recycling.  The number of cans lying idle in landfills instead of being recycled and made use of is alarming.

Even though you can’t change the way people dispose of their trash can all at once, you can start by doing the right thing. Since everyone is typically responsible for the tons of recyclable waste that end up in the landfills, ocean waters and on our lands, you can start recycling. And if you don’t know what to do with these waste items, you can reach out to any of the waste recycling service nearest to you. They will be more than happy to pick it up and use it the right way.

Waste recycling services will visit your property and empty your trash into their trucks. The waste material will be dumped at a material recovery facility with a capacity of handling and processing more than 28 tons of waste within an hour. A 12 hour work will result in 336 tons of waste being processed already.

Each material and component parts are well sorted. For instance, papers are sorted and sent to be recycled into a new reusable product. Glass can be recycled into another glass and aluminum into more aluminum. There’s no limit to what these materials can be transformed into.

Now you know you know that more than half of the waste your produce every week is recyclable, start doing what’s right. Basically, if you dispose of three bags of thrash every week, only one of those bags would be pure waste and that can end up in the landfill. But the rest components could be processed and recycled.

Waste recycling doesn’t have to be difficult if you know what to do. All you have to do is to place the recyclable materials in the designated container and leave the rest for waste recycling services to handle.
